Critical Facility Technician 3 - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Job Summary:

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Critical Facility Technician 3 to join our team. As a Critical Facility Technician 3, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within our data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and daily corrective work on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
  • Respond to emergent issues and provide expert technical support to ensure data center uptime exceeds 99.999%
  • Collaborate with Onsite Engineering Operations and third-party vendors to ensure seamless operations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including MOPs and SOPs
  • Conduct training and knowledge transfer to other technicians
  • Monitor and analyze data center performance, identifying trends and discrepancies
  • Implement site-specific processes and procedures, including procedure creation and review standards

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
  • Possess a Journeyman Electrician License, Journeyman HVAC license, or equivalent

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to lift at least 100 pounds, relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance, and work at various heights up to 60 feet. The ability to walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis is also required.
