Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Systems Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including circuit breakers, transformers, and generators.
  • Mechanical Systems Maintenance: Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, and cooling towers.
  • Fire/Life Safety Systems Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of fire/life safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and emergency lighting.
  • System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and system performance data.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless system operation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems maintenance and repair.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Journeyman Electrician License or Journeyman HVAC License.
  • Security Clearance: Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and obtain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems, including system design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 100 pounds, work at heights up to 60 feet, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
