Critical Facility Technician 3 - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Job Summary:

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Critical Facility Technician 3 to join our team. As a Critical Facility Technician 3, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within our data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and daily corrective work on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
  • Respond to emergent issues and provide expert technical support to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with Onsite Engineering Operations and third-party vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including MOPs and SOPs.
  • Conduct periodic technical and quality reviews to ensure adherence to industry best practices and safety guidelines.
  • Collect and generate internal and vendor field service reports.
  • Provide training and assistance to CET1/2 personnel on electrical equipment and systems.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required.
  • Possess a Journeyman Electrician License, Journeyman HVAC license, or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and be able to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and tools as needed.
