Role Overview: Responsible for the creation, organization, and assessment of critical data related to Mechanical and Electrical systems to guarantee project milestones are met, budgetary constraints are adhered to, and quality benchmarks outlined in contracts are achieved.

Core Duties:
Emphasis on Mechanical and Electrical systems:
  • Direct the project team, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure effective installation of systems.
  • Formulate and manage a comprehensive list of tasks aligned with the project timeline.
  • Engage in scheduling discussions for precise updates.
  • Efficiently handle Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Supervise budget oversight and financial health of subcontractors.
  • Guide junior Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
  • Collaborate on the MEP Coordination Process to meet design specifications.
  • Draft scope of work documents and delineate responsibilities across trades.
  • Address conflicts in mechanical and electrical systems promptly.
  • Manage project handover processes.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to verify adherence to contract specifications.
  • Identify and relay complex installation needs to field personnel in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation for system operation certifications is secured.
  • Execute a quality assurance plan in conjunction with the MEP Superintendent.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of four years of pertinent experience. In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is vital. Strong planning and execution capabilities, along with excellent communication and leadership skills, are essential.

Physical Requirements:
The role necessitates occasional physical exertion, including climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Good vision and manual dexterity are required.

Work Setting: The position is primarily based on construction sites, with exposure to diverse environmental conditions and elevated noise levels.
