Sales Director

As a Sales Manager at Total Quality Logistics, you will embark on a comprehensive learning journey, working closely with our sales and leadership teams for the first six months.
Upon completion of your training, you will lead a team of sales employees, driving revenue and supporting customer needs with LTL services.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive LTL revenue through coaching and developing new and existing team members
Interview, hire, onboard, and train entry-level LTL account representatives
Assist account reps with LTL strategies to ensure production targets are met
Build effective relationships across the full-truckload sales organization
Ensure employees maintain the highest level of integrity
Occasional travel to meet with LTL account reps, prospects, and customers
Monitor sales reports, act as needed, and communicate LTL trends and market conditions to senior leadership
Assist in resolving escalated issues
Maintain and develop new strategies to grow accounts
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 10+
3+ years of experience succeeding in LTL Sales
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others
Ability to be on call if needed to support team and customers 24/7/365
Capable of providing strong professional references - customer, superior, peer, and direct-report
