**Quality Technician Role at Nesco Resource**


Nesco Resource is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team at a highly reputable client located on the East Side. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing or production environment.


**Key Responsibilities:**



  • • Ensure the adequacy of product quality and compliance to requirements.
  • • Disposition production events related to part and material non-conformances.
  • • Monitor metrics consistent with job responsibilities.
  • • Support Plant Safety programs to provide a safe working environment.
  • • Achieve applicable department requirements for safety, quality, and cost.
  • • Ability to identify root-cause & how to improve issue at hand.
  • • Drive simplification and continuous improvement.
  • • Administrative work for production events in the system, ensuring that they are moving along and completing the production event process.

**Requirements:**



  • • Two year (Associates) + 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment OR
  • • High school diploma + 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • • Flexibility to multitask and prioritize work on an independent basis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • • Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.
  • • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

**Preferred Qualifications:**



  • • Previous Quality Control experience in a manufacturing or technical function.
  • • Knowledge of ISO 9001.
