Job Summary

We are seeking a professional Doorperson to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a Doorperson, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming and secure environment. Your role will involve assisting with entry and exit, providing top-notch customer service, and managing the flow of traffic at the entrance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and residents with a smile, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain the driveway by ensuring it is clear, directing traffic, and managing the flow of vehicles to prevent congestion.
  • Assist with physical tasks such as carrying luggage or packages.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • A friendly smile and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors, managing traffic flow.
  • Reliable, punctual, and always professional in appearance.
  • Ability to assist with physical tasks such as carrying luggage or packages.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior customer service and hotel experience.
  • Knowledge of the local area.
  • Ability to read and write English exceptionally well.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and listen. Employees are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including snow storms, and extreme heat. Employees work in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations, and employees are to be safety conscious at all times.
