Lab Technician Position

Job Summary:

Actalent is seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our team. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting analytical testing, preparing process and finished product samples, and performing light maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct HPLC testing and prepare process and finished product samples
  • Perform analytical testing and record results into software programs
  • Organize and prepare samples, and clean testing equipment and lab areas
  • Perform light maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment
  • Ensure that all systems are operating accurately by continually comparing equipment readouts with samples of standards

Requirements:

  • Associates of Science or Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant lab-based experience
  • Good multi-tasking skills and ability to run certain tests
  • Familiarity with moisture testing and pH testing
