Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional craft cocktails and beverages to guests with precision.
  • Exhibit the highest standards of customer service, including welcoming and engaging with guests, while fostering a friendly atmosphere.
  • Commit to ongoing training and knowledge acquisition within the beverage industry.
  • Maintain the bar area by:
    • Keeping the workspace clean and orderly throughout the shift.
    • Preparing garnishes and ensuring they are ready before service begins.
    • Presenting glassware and liquor attractively.
    • Verifying that all patrons are of legal drinking age.
    • Exercising sound judgment to refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive individuals when necessary.
    • Addressing any issues promptly and effectively, reporting to the Head Bartender and Bar Manager.
    • Placing orders or creating requisition forms for beverages and bar supplies.
    • Obtaining TIPS Certification in Safe Service of Alcohol - SERVSafe.
    • Adhering to all health, sanitation, and safety protocols.
    • Demonstrating the ability to open and close the bar while ensuring guest safety.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of drink preparation and service, including classic cocktails.
  • Strong understanding of spirits, beer, and wine, with a particular emphasis on tequila and mezcal.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure when interacting with challenging patrons.
  • Capability to learn and operate cash register software.

Education and Experience:
  • Completion of mixology, bartending, or related training is preferred.
  • Advanced bartending skills and expertise.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods while preparing drinks.
  • Capacity to fulfill orders swiftly and accurately.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques to avoid injury.
  • Must meet the legal drinking age requirement.
