Job Description

NSC Technologies, LLC is actively seeking a Rigger Specialist. The ideal candidate should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in rigging or as a rigging assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

To excel in this role, an individual must effectively carry out each essential duty. The qualifications outlined below represent the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  1. Demonstrates technical proficiency in all tasks, work processes, and equipment, ensuring the completion of daily assignments.
  2. Operates under close supervision or adheres to detailed instructions.
  3. Monitors the work environment to ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and health regulations.
  4. Possesses a solid understanding of procedures, mechanical skills, and the ability to interpret crane load charts, wire rope load charts, and synthetic sling load charts.
  5. Selects appropriate cables, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves based on the weight and size of the load to be moved.
  6. Attaches pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures, such as beams and ceilings, using bolts and clamps.
  7. Utilizes lifting devices, including wires, nylon slings, and chains, to secure loads to crane hooks and interprets blueprints accurately.
  8. Disassembles and reassembles blocks, moves equipment using skids, dollies, and rollers, and demonstrates flexibility to work any assigned shift, including overtime as needed.
  9. May undertake tasks outside of the craft as required.
  10. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
