This role requires a strong focus on strengthening and enhancing broker relationships across the zone, ensuring the Allianz appetite is understood, and executing go-to-market strategies in core geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute distribution strategies to drive business growth and profitability in your designated zone.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Provide local brokerages with a clear access point into the organization, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Act as the lead broker engagement representative in your zone, serving as the primary interface between product leaders, claims, and other key areas.
- Develop a balanced pipeline with target accounts/submissions to fulfill financial targets and desired business mix.
- Engage and coordinate with marketing to tailor specific zone requirements for market presence and brand awareness.
- Build and maintain relationships, generating trust and credibility with key people who impact the buying decision.
- Ensure client data base (SFDC) is fully populated and kept current at all times with relevant client strategies and client information for the entire zone.
- Facilitate brokers' understanding of Allianz Commercial underwriting appetites and capabilities.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in underwriting or development roles in industrial/specialty insurance business.
- 10 years of experience in successful track records of prospecting new clients in industrial/specialty insurance segment.
- 10 years of experience fostering long-term, profitable relationships at senior levels in broker and client organizations.
- 5-7 years of experience working in international organizations, with overseas assignments or equivalent exposure to international insurance programs.
- 10 years of experience in track records of leadership and influencing others without authority.
- Degree preferred in Economics, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
- Professional qualification preferred, such as ACII (or equivalent) or progress towards.
