Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our team at Shawano Orthodontics. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional patient experiences and supporting the delivery of high-quality dental care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, confirming their information and ensuring a smooth check-in process.
- Schedule patients according to office policies and protocols, ensuring timely and efficient use of clinical time.
- Verify patient contact information and communicate with clinical staff as needed.
- Collect and process payments from patients, either in-person or via mail/phone.
- Coordinate with other dental offices and specialists to ensure seamless care for our patients.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including scanning and documenting relevant information.
- Assist with new patient and recall paperwork, ensuring all necessary documents are completed and up-to-date.
- Gather and verify insurance benefits to ensure optimal coverage for our patients.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of clinical protocols and procedures.
- A positive attitude, with a commitment to teamwork, compassion, and exceptional patient care.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $18-$20 per hour, based on experience.
