Your role:
As an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), you will be responsible for delivering both urgent and non-urgent pre-hospital care to patients. You will adhere to established policies, procedures, and medical protocols while operating within your training scope. Professional discretion and independent judgment are essential, as you will practice in accordance with state and facility regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency service requests as dispatched.
  • Conduct assessments based on your training and medical protocols to determine appropriate treatment and transport methods.
  • Safely operate the ambulance while adhering to traffic regulations to ensure the safety of all occupants.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including patient care reports and daily checklists, in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain a secure and effective work environment.
  • Collaborate with higher-trained personnel to provide optimal patient care.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and other emergency response personnel.
  • Participate in community service initiatives as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
  • Certification as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician in Georgia.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Completion of NIMS 700, 800, ICS 100, and 200 within 90 days of hire.
