Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform and document assessments appropriate to licensure, ensuring health history and admission process is completed. The LPN will identify discharge planning and education needs, provide patient care, and perform personal cares.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the registered nurse or other licensed practitioner in identifying patient needs, priorities of care, and goals.
- Contribute to the evaluation of the plan of care by gathering, observing, recording, and communicating patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Modify the plan of care in collaboration with licensed practitioner.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department/organization.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
The LPN Clinic Nurse will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, rotating between Roseau and Warroad clinics. The nurse will work 8a-5p Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
