Position: Senior Go Developer with Java and AWS

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a robust background in software development, particularly in Go and Java. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 8 years of experience in software development within a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Java or Python is highly recommended.
  • Experience in implementing AWS containers to facilitate Go development and maintain repositories effectively.
  • Ability to design user interfaces using React, ensuring REST API access for enterprise-level finance clients.
  • Collaboration skills to work with technical teams, ensuring seamless DevOps processes.
  • Expertise in selecting and utilizing JavaScript libraries to enhance performance while maintaining security and core functionality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in designing Payment Network applications, along with software development and automated testing, is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Solid development experience in Go, with knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, including MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
  • Knowledge of Redis and Kafka is a plus.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with OpenShift is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with service mesh components, such as Envoy and xDS control plane.

Team Collaboration:

The candidate should demonstrate proven experience working within a team of engineers, showcasing excellent collaboration skills in a group environment. Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.

Communication Skills:

Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly for Go-based applications.
  • Solid understanding of web development principles, including HTTP/HTTPS protocols, RESTful API design, and data structures.
  • Experience in designing and implementing microservices in Go, along with knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Proficiency in integrating with various databases, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience in writing efficient database queries.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development teams, with familiarity in methodologies like Kanban or Test-Driven Development (TDD).
