We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Inbound Operations Team Leader to join our team at Target. Key Responsibilities- Lead and Develop a Team: As an Inbound Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members and developing their skills and knowledge to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage Inbound Logistics Processes: You will be responsible for managing the inbound logistics processes, including receiving, stocking, and processing merchandise, to ensure that products are delivered to the sales floor in a timely and efficient manner.
- Improve Efficiency and Productivity: You will work to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency and productivity, while maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, inventory management, and transportation, to ensure that all aspects of the inbound logistics process are aligned and working together effectively.
- Ensure Compliance and Safety: You will be responsible for ensuring that all inbound logistics processes are compliant with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, and that all team members are working in a safe and healthy environment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for this role.
- Previous Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred, but not required.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: You must have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and develop a team, as well as communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: You must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
- Attention to Detail: You must have a high level of attention to detail to ensure that all inbound logistics processes are accurate and compliant.
