Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/Patient Representative to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program.
  • National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification or obtained certification within 90 days of hire date.
  • Valid Basic Life Support Certification.
  • 2 or more years of professional medical assisting experience in a practice setting preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
