Job Title: Medical Science Liaison - Neurology

AbbVie is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the Neurology department. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in supporting the scientific and business objectives of our Neurology products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute high-impact territory plans to engage with healthcare professionals and investigators in alignment with Neurology medical and scientific objectives.
  • Identify, gain access to, and develop professional customer-centric relationships with external experts in therapeutic areas within assigned geography.
  • Deliver on territory plan objectives, meet assigned project deadlines, and achieve annual functional goals.
  • Practice core capabilities in segmentation, data point observations, and optimal resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures, including accurate and timely documentation of HCP interactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a health science from an accredited university required; advanced degree preferred in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Greater than or equal to 2 years of clinical, scientific/research, or industry-related experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Problem-solving and analytic skills to identify and translate specific territory and corporate needs into actionable plans.
  • Leadership attributes that align with company-wide initiatives such as All for One AbbVie, Clear and Courageous, Make Possibilities Real, Agile and Accountable, and Decide Smart and Sure.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply foundational skills in Scientific Storytelling, Identifying Mobilizers, Medical Challenger, and Active Listening.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
