Job Summary

The Business Process Optimization Specialist for the USDA Farm Loans Program leads efforts to improve business processes and operational efficiency. This remote role involves collaborating with stakeholders to analyze current processes and implement enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts discovery, document current state processes, and identify areas of significant opportunity in process optimization, automation, and standardization.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders to align process improvements with organizational goals and priorities.
• Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, IT, or related field.
• A minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience.
• Experience working in financial accounting, financial management services, or lending institutions is a plus.
• Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart) and familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g. lean Six Sigma).
