About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Visual Designer to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program, you will play a critical role in providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation, improvement, and integration of cybersecurity visuals for the organization.
  • Confer with client/project manager to discuss project details, including background information, project parameters, and objectives.
  • Consult and brainstorm with staff to develop innovative ideas, concepts, solutions, and materials for print, web, and interactive media.
  • Transform stakeholders' ideas into engaging visuals, products, and graphics to fully communicate campaigns and projects while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Develop creative and unique content in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques.
  • Enhance the user's website experience with media and/or graphic elements, improving existing web pages and creating new web pages content to communicate the customer's messages and themes.
  • Create and oversee the preparation of illustrative materials, including iconography, infographics, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Independently manage, plan, evaluate, and advocate for solutions, plans, and functions, and is responsible for the management of projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare, design, and publish documents and media that are distributed to a large government, national, and international user-base.
  • Manage multiple projects daily, ensuring project deadlines are met, managing expectations, and providing quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience, or a Master's and 6 years. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree/education.
  • Possess or be able to obtain within 6 months of start date, ONE of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CEH, CISSP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, Project +
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience with and knowledge of the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign).
  • Demonstrated competencies in preparing, publication, and producing dissemination for leadership, management, and diverse user groups.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience preparing, producing, and supporting a cybersecurity product line.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing UI/UX design principles.
