Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at National Firestopping Solutions. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily field operations for all assigned active projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Initiation: Review project scope, budget, contract, proposal, and all other relevant documents with the sales and estimating team.
  • Project Planning: Walk the project site with customers to understand the scope, assess challenges, create a work plan/strategy, and communicate any potential challenges with the customer.
  • Project Delivery: Manage daily activities associated with the project, including team accountability and management, training field staff as necessary, and drafting and submitting engineering judgments.
  • Project Documentation: Complete project management documentation and timecards daily within the Procore system.
  • Quality and Productivity: Ensure productivity and quality standards are met or exceeded at all times.
  • Customer Communication: Regular, professional communication with customers.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Take lead on all inspections performed on work completed by NFS and complete documentation of work, finalize report, and present to customers on 100% of completed projects.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets and minimize operating expenses.
  • Final Billing: Submit final billing immediately upon completion of all projects.
Requirements:
  • Work Schedule: Typical workday is 6:30 - 3:00, with occasional work outside of typical hours necessary.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel occasionally.
  • Education and Experience: Must meet one of the following criteria:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent with some project management experience.
    • Associate's degree in a related field and 2 years of project management experience.
    • 5 years of field construction experience and minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
