Position Summary

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the production process by efficiently moving, transferring, and fulfilling orders essential for production operations. This position involves executing inventory transactions in Oracle and delivering necessary materials to production teams to ensure work orders are completed on time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Organize and stage materials in designated areas to maintain an orderly workspace

· Ensure a clean and safe working environment while carrying out Material Handler responsibilities

· Operate various equipment such as forklifts, walkie riders, order selectors, or pallet jacks to supply materials to production areas as required

· Retrieve and process materials from the warehouse or Kanban areas while accurately performing Oracle transactions

· Weigh, verify, and restock returns from production back to appropriate warehouse or Kanban locations

· Confirm the accuracy of part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and locations when pulling for any area

· Transfer finished goods from staging areas to the warehouse to maintain clear operational spaces

· Conduct label control to ensure all information is accurate and up to date

· Reconcile work orders to guarantee correct materials are issued and all transactions are completed properly

· Execute daily cycle counts and zone counting as directed

· Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times

· Complete shift tasks as assigned

· Process and transact move orders and material requests as needed

· Address and rectify Oracle errors as necessary

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

Proficient in reading, writing, performing basic calculations, and navigating complex computer systems accurately Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently Flexible availability with the capability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule when required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Forklift operation experience is mandatory Familiarity with Oracle systems is preferred Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Education and Experience

· High School diploma or GED equivalent is required

· A minimum of one year of related experience is preferred

Minimum Qualifications

· Must be at least 18 years of age

Travel Requirements

· Typically requires minimal travel, less than 5% of the time

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

· Work is conducted in a clean room environment

· While performing job duties, the employee may need to sit, stand, or kneel for extended periods

· Must be capable of using a computer or touch screen to input work order data

· Ability to occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs is necessary

· Must be able to work in proximity to automated robots and heavy machinery
