Job Title: Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Specialist to join our team at Salt Lake City. As a key member of our Public Lands department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, including tools, parts, equipment, and maintenance materials.
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and service.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, materials handling, and inventory distribution.
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory programs and experience with inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment with moderate to heavy physical activity required.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dampness, noise, and fumes.
  • May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Subject to call back and extended work hours.
