Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:
The role involves managing the receipt and distribution of materials within the facility's stockroom. You will support and guide stock selectors in executing storeroom operations in a manufacturing setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess and prioritize incoming tasks.
  • Confirm quantities on received shipments.
  • Identify shortages, process related documentation, and fulfill requested quantities for delivery to specified locations.
  • Organize parts in designated storage areas and allocate locations for items without pre-assigned spots.
  • Prepare items requested for delivery to the production floor.
  • Assist internal staff with their parts requests.
  • Transport inspected components from sub-assembly areas to the receiving zone for inventory.
  • Generate and distribute stock location reports as needed.
  • Conduct material cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This position typically requires knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma, along with basic mathematical skills, computer proficiency, and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be capable of operating a forklift or other material-handling machinery.
