Key Responsibilities
  • Take technical ownership of a portfolio of clad thermostat metal products, utilizing sound engineering judgment and statistical data analysis to address complex material, process, and equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with external customers to address production problems, application issues, and explore new business opportunities, participating in sales calls with Field Representatives to support customers and generate new business.
  • Assist the commercial team with technical evaluations of new business prospects, product costing, sampling, and production initiation, ensuring high internal and outgoing product quality.
  • Lead root cause and corrective action analyses, track quality trends, and implement continuous improvement programs, identifying and executing cost reduction strategies to minimize waste and enhance yields.
  • Interface with all organizational levels, providing support from manufacturing operators to upper management, and provide timely support to manufacturing operations and personnel to resolve production and quality issues.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree, preferably in industrial or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of costing and quoting, with Oracle experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.
