Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, your primary duties will include setting up and operating various machinery such as turrets, punching machines, presses, press brakes, lasers, shears, and spot welders. You will be expected to collaborate effectively within a team environment and be open to cross-training across different areas of the department.

Essential Duties:

  • Set up and operate equipment including turrets, punching machines, and lasers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and utilize measuring instruments.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, initiative, and a strong focus on safety.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage material ordering and scheduling.
  • Stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a proactive approach.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Good eyesight and manual dexterity.
  • Willingness to engage in cross-training.
  • At least 1 year of experience in mechanics and electronics.
  • Ability to comprehend assembly drawings and bills of materials.
  • Follow setup instructions and understand product specifications.
  • Capable of standing for long durations and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability for overtime as required.
