About the Role:

YAI is seeking a skilled Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a clinical position, this role involves working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assessing their needs, and developing effective interventions to support them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement person-centered values and beliefs in daily work
  • Form and maintain good relationships with individuals and staff
  • Identify and assist staff to employ best practices
  • Advocate for necessary changes in service practices
  • Train staff to ensure interventions are understood and consistently implemented
  • Interact with individuals, assess their ADL skills, and provide personal care
  • Supervise Assistant BIS to ensure treatment and habilitative needs are addressed

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
  • Experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled population

Compensation and Schedule:

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually; based upon education and experience

M-F 10a-6p
