About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer II to join our User Insights Services team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems and pipelines that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines using AWS services such as Redshift, S3, and Kinesis
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data warehouses and data lakes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with AWS best practices

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based technologies
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines
  • Experience with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
