We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Senior Associate to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a solid background in public accounting and a focus on corporate tax, SALT, and high-net worth individuals.
Responsibilities:- Perform detailed financial and operational audits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present audit reports that accurately summarize the most significant control weaknesses, associated risks, and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline audit processes and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Perform tax-related tasks including corporate tax, SALT, and high-net worth individual tax preparations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior audit staff, promoting a culture of learning and development within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the finance industry, implementing best practices in all audit procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA license is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or internal auditing, preferably in the finance industry.
- Proficient in corporate tax, SALT, high-net worth individual tax, and public accounting.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and the ability to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
- Proficient in using advanced features of MS Excel and familiar with accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
