This team is responsible for upgrading and maintaining Mainframe backend systems that underpin Fidelity's extensive digital footprint. Your contributions will span the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment, as part of an agile, cross-functional team.

Essential Qualifications:
Technical Proficiencies:
- Minimum of 8 years of software development experience with Java or a comparable programming language.
- Strong grasp and practical experience with Relational Databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL.
- Proficient in NoSQL Databases, such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Message Brokers and their design patterns, including SQS or RabbitMQ.
- Experience in deploying applications within a cloud environment, particularly AWS.
- Solid understanding of designing and developing cloud-native solutions, especially in AWS.
Leadership Attributes:
- Demonstrated ability to oversee the delivery of intricate end-to-end solutions.
- Proven experience managing technical initiatives within a Scrum Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate efforts, collaborate with diverse teams, and simplify complex problems.
- Experience mentoring fellow engineers and enhancing their skill sets.
- Capability to navigate complex environments and independently develop an understanding of those systems.
