Airswift is looking for a Facilities Instrumentation Engineer to join our team and contribute to various projects in the oil and gas sector.

The Facilities Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the effective design and execution of engineering standards in the development of process facility projects. This role involves collaboration with various departments to oversee projects from conception to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Engineers and other departments to develop and implement facility infrastructure plans.
  • Provide troubleshooting and optimization support for instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Assist in the execution and commissioning of facility upgrades and modifications.
  • Contribute to the development of project scopes, designs, and cost estimates.
  • Create technical specifications, diagrams, and schedules in coordination with project teams.
  • Offer electrical engineering support in areas such as classification, grounding, and power distribution.
  • Work with designers to produce wiring diagrams and installation details.
  • Support the Management of Change (MOC) process and participate in safety reviews.
  • Engage in risk assessments and process hazard analyses.
  • Monitor project progress and manage project costs effectively.
  • Provide innovative solutions to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain standards for instrumentation and electrical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and industry engineering standards.
  • Provide feedback on facility compliance with electrical codes.
  • Oversee engineering contractors and support programming efforts related to control systems.
  • Exhibit strong values and be recognized as a technical expert within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Controls, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the instrumentation and electrical industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • Experience collaborating with various engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support field operations.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% annually.
