Job Summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Research Administration Office, you will play a crucial role in planning and implementing clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of clinical research studies, ensuring protocol expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with the research team to ensure seamless execution of studies.
  • Balance patient visits, data entry, and clerical responsibilities associated with clinical trials.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or 4 years of Clinical Research Experience in lieu of education.
  • Experience Equivalencies:
    • Associates Degree: 1-2 years of relevant research and/or healthcare experience.
    • BA in a Healthcare related field: ≤1 year of Healthcare experience.
    • BA in a non-Healthcare related field: 1-2 years of healthcare experience.
  • BLS required, PALS recommended.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Attentive to detail with excellent organization skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent written, oral, and team communication skills.
  • Team oriented.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook and schedule management.
  • Basic Medical Terminology required.
  • Professional and courteous Customer Service.
  • Pediatric experience (preferred).
  • Competency in basic computer skills required (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
