Department Overview:

The Accounting and Finance team is responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization. As an Accounting Operations Specialist, you will be a key member of this team, working closely with other departments to achieve financial goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage accounts payable, including supplier/provider invoices and payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier/provider databases and portals.
  • Prepare and present semi-monthly DPO/aging analysis reports.
  • Implement and maintain supplier background check/vetting processes.
  • Review and ensure timely posting of general ledger distributions.
  • Facilitate resolution of disputed invoices and maintain payables process documentation.
  • Assist with monthly close procedures, including operating expense accruals and analysis.
  • Prepare and submit sales & use tax filings.
  • Monitor and report on 1099, 1042, and W2G compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong processing accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Esker AP platform, and Concur highly desired.
