Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler - Order Filling Specialist to join our team at Orgill, Inc. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for accurately picking and labeling merchandise from primary pick locations, identifying correct merchandise, and preparing orders for transport to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations with high accuracy
  • Identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise
  • Prepare orders for transport to customers
  • Lift and handle totes approximately weighing 50lbs onto a conveyor system leading to shipping areas
  • Take direction from Supervisor for additional assignments or schedule changes
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Commitment to high standards of safety and compliance to all safety policies and practices
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Good comprehension skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills in maintaining accurate records
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
  • Must be a team player with a can-do attitude
  • Experience operating power equipment a plus
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to meet all physical assessment requirements for the position
