Overview

At Burleson St. Joseph Manor, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a key member of our Nutrition Services team, the Senior Nutrition Services Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services. This position is responsible for maintaining and administering established department operational systems, providing for the operational needs of staff, and contributing to the development of new operational systems as an active member of the management team.

The successful candidate will have four years of experience in food services, two years of hospital nutrition experience, and a strong background in menu development, staff management, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a certified dietary manager or registered dietitian nutritionist with current certification as a ServSafe Food Protection Manager and ServSafe Allergen certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer established department operational systems to ensure efficient and effective food services delivery

• Provide for the operational needs of staff, including directing storeroom clerks and cooks, and collaborating in implementing and sustaining infection control practices

• Maintain adequate staffing for daily needs, recruiting, hiring, and managing the performance of staff

• Collaborate in the process of menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services

• Maintain effective communication with patients, staff, and customers regarding the level of services received from Nutrition Services staff
