Job Summary

The District Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of retail stores within an assigned territory. This includes ensuring stores meet sales goals and training requirements through consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue.

The District Manager is tasked with recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and developing Store Managers and Sales Associates. Strong communication and leadership skills are required to discipline staff as needed and maintain a motivated team.

The District Manager must continuously check in on individual stores to ensure they are stocked, clean, and in proper working order. This includes routine daily, monthly, and annual audits of each store.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures all store locations meet or exceed established standards in organization, appearance, and customer service.
  • Works side by side with Store Managers and Sales Associates to improve sales processes and ensure staff have a thorough knowledge of products and services.
  • Collaborates with the Executive Team to establish Sales Goals and holds each Store Manager and Sales Associate accountable to their attainment.
  • Participates in human resource objectives by actively recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees.
  • Identifies disciplinary issues with staff, relays to Human Resources, and works to resolve them by counseling employees and/or providing verbal/written warnings as needed.

Qualifications and Credentials:

High school degree required; College Degree preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years of wireless retail store management and at least five (5) years of related retail sales experience required; preferably in a fast-paced, telecommunications environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to navigate the Internet is required.

Proficiency with RQ4 and OMNI is preferred.

Work Environment:

Employees' primary base of operation will be at any one of the retail stores within their assigned district on any given day.

Some travel to ComServe Headquarters or other locations may be required.
