Office Administration and Support Specialist

The Dracaena Centre is on the lookout for committed and detail-oriented individuals to become part of our team as Office Administration and Support Specialists. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing crucial assistance and support to our organization, ensuring that operational processes run seamlessly.
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of administrative duties, including managing office supplies, organizing and maintaining both physical and digital files, handling correspondence, and scheduling appointments. You will also be tasked with offering general support to our team members, which includes coordinating meetings, arranging travel logistics, and assisting with event organization.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, possess a keen eye for detail, and be adept at utilizing various computer software and office equipment. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Previous experience in an administrative or support capacity is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee office supplies and inventory, ensuring they are adequately stocked and reordered as necessary.
- Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files and documents.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone communications.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for team members.
- Provide administrative assistance to staff as required.
- Coordinate meetings and support event planning efforts.
- Arrange travel logistics and prepare itineraries.
- Perform general office tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in an administrative or support role is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of computer software and office equipment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
