We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Law Enforcement Support Specialist to join our team at Kern County, CA. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our law enforcement department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to law enforcement personnel, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, documents, and other materials as required.
- Operate a variety of office equipment, including computers, printers, and scanners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, both physical and electronic.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of progressively responsible clerical experience, including one year of experience as a Sheriff's Support Technician or equivalent.
- Typing/keyboard speed of 50 net words per minute.
- Valid California Driver's License (may be required for some positions).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a law enforcement or public safety environment.
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
