About Our Team

Commercial and Residential Management Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with accountants on day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc requests.
  • Process, review, and track move-outs, verifying resident information and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist with depositing payments into resident/tenant ledgers, investigate accounts receivable queries, and review delinquent reports.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Preferred six months of experience in accounting or completion of an accounting course.
  • Strong property management experience is desired.
  • A strong work ethic with reliable attendance.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Excel, as well as basic accounting principles.
