Job Overview

PrideStaff Portland, a locally owned and operated Staffing Agency, seeks an experienced Financial Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for producing and sending invoices, reconciling and documenting financial transactions, and generating billing statements and reports.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $22 - $26 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility to accommodate business needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and procedures. Proficiency in Quickbooks, Sage 300, and financial statements is also required, as well as excellent computer skills and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and send invoices as quickly and accurately as possible
  • Match invoices to work orders; reconcile and document financial transactions
  • Generate billing statements and reports
  • Compile and sort invoices and checks, file and tally deposits, process bills for payment, and arrange and organize deposits
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
  • Review and reconcile the general ledger regularly
  • Monitor aging reports
