Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate chainsaws and other equipment to manage vegetation effectively.
2. Collect and feed brush into wood chippers.
3. Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and functional state.
Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
3. Entry-level position; no prior experience necessary, although experience is advantageous.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Successful candidates may be required to complete a pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Licenses & Certifications:
Driver's License preferred but not mandatory.
Physical Demands:
1. Rare: Sitting, Crawling, Climbing Poles, Color Vision.
2. Occasional: Stooping, Kneeling, Squatting, Lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
3. Frequent: Standing, Walking, Manual Dexterity, Hearing.
4. Continuous: Sense of Touch, Gripping, Carrying.
Safety Considerations:
Due to the nature of the work, employees must possess good eyesight for equipment operation, maintain focus for extended periods, and be prepared to work in various weather conditions. Personal protective equipment is required, and employees must be able to navigate uneven terrain and communicate effectively with team members.
