About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the ESS team as a Substitute Custodian at Dayton Public Schools.

Job Summary

An ESS Substitute Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of school facilities, ensuring every school day runs smoothly and students can focus on learning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance duties before, during, and after school hours
  • Clean all areas of school buildings according to district standards, including floors, windows, furniture, bathrooms, and classrooms
  • Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
  • Deliver supplies and materials to appropriate areas of the building
  • Complete grounds keeping duties

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • State/FBI Criminal History Clearance
