Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Two-Year-Old Educator to join our team at Wheeler Childcare. As a key member of our early childhood education program, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our two-year-old students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement weekly and monthly lesson plans that align with TN licensing guidelines and promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in our students.
  • Provide exceptional care and supervision to our two-year-old students, including diapering, potty training, mealtime supervision, nap time supervision, and playground supervision.
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression through art and music activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a lead position in early childhood education, preferably in a childcare setting.
  • Completion of all licensing required trainings prior to working with children on-site.
  • CPR certification (we will provide training and support).
  • 23 hours of online training required, which will be paid with the first check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a lead educator in an early childhood setting.
  • Early childhood degree or equivalent experience.
