Your Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Revenue team. In this role, you will take charge of the accounting processes related to revenue transactions, which encompass reconciliations, journal entries, exception monitoring, data integrity, reporting disclosures, and process automation. As a global organization with multiple entities, you will collaborate with international accounting teams for cross-training, month-end closing, reporting disclosures, and audit support. You will also engage closely with data and engineering, product, treasury, risk, and general finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating month-end closing activities.
  • Conducting fluctuation analysis and reviewing account changes to ensure accurate recording in our general ledger and financial statements.
  • Assisting with critical reporting disclosures and regulatory submissions.
  • Reviewing new deals and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards as per US GAAP, including ASC 606.
  • Identifying areas for process enhancement and collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Treasury, Compliance, FinOps, and Data teams to drive automation and reporting improvements.
  • Providing reporting requirements to cross-functional partners and ensuring completeness and accuracy for both existing and new product launches.
  • Supporting relevant SOX, audit, and tax obligations.
  • Conducting special accounting analyses and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of accounting experience.

  • Strong technical accounting skills and familiarity with ASC 606 concepts.

Additional Information:

This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates. Circle is dedicated to creating an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core. Please note that compensation ranges may vary for candidates in different locations.

Base Pay Range: $102,500 - $137,500

Annual Bonus Target:

Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)). Circle offers a discretionary vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave per year, and 11 paid holidays annually.
