Key Responsibilities:

Daily Duties of a Facility Maintenance Specialist

  • Maintains the premises and surrounding areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Conducts thorough cleaning tasks.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums flooring surfaces.
  • Collects and disposes of waste materials.
  • Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks restroom facilities.
  • Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
  • Washes windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Prepares cleaning solutions and chemicals as per guidelines.
  • Adheres to safety protocols for using chemical cleaners and machinery to protect floors and fixtures.
  • Polishes and maintains furniture and fixtures.
  • Manages the inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Reports any maintenance needs or repairs to management.

The essential functions of this role include:

Working in a smoke-free environment.
