Position Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring cleanliness and orderliness within the premises. Responsibilities include vacuuming, buffing floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash bins, and replacing liners as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness in designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom sanitation.
  • Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities.
  • Execute heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as required.
  • Report any deficiencies or repair needs to management.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Manage and restock supply rooms.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to observe safety protocols and comply with company policies.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting written instructions; capable of clear communication.
  • Physical capability to perform janitorial tasks and operate standard equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to schedules and commitments.
  • Willingness to follow supervisory directions.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
