Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Document fixed assets and manage depreciation.
  • Assist in the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Carry out financial compliance and regulatory reporting tasks.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulations and accounting standards.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor, review, and analyze to identify and establish schedules for potential unclaimed property liabilities.
  • Support various ad hoc projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in bank reconciliation is advantageous.

This position operates on a hybrid schedule, offering a competitive salary of up to $70,000 based on experience.
