Job Description Shift:
Rotating Day and Evening
Minimum Qualifications:A Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution is required; a Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) may substitute for the BSN.
If only possessing a BSN, a Master's degree in a related field or DNP completion is expected within four years of the hire date.
A minimum of three years of relevant experience as a registered nurse is essential.
Extensive knowledge of the patient population served, healthcare trends, and community resources is crucial.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse groups, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals are necessary.
Certification in a specialty area is preferred, or completion within one year of eligibility is strongly encouraged.
Licensure and Certifications:Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state is required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an equivalent recognized certification.
Certification in a specialty area is preferred, or completion within one year of eligibility is strongly encouraged.
Physical Requirements:Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking continuously.
Ability to climb stairs infrequently and work indoors consistently.
Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform various physical tasks as required.
Maintaining good vision and hearing acuity is essential for effective job performance.
This role requires the ability to manage stress effectively and work rotating shifts as needed.
