Job Title: Associate Manager, Survey Research

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is a mission-driven organization dedicated to promoting graduate management education and attracting a diverse candidate pool worldwide. We are seeking an Associate Manager, Survey Research to join our Research and Data Science team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and manage project plans for research projects assigned to ensure success.
  • Update survey instruments based on feedback and finalize them with input from stakeholders.
  • Program survey instruments in survey software such as Qualtrics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop survey samples in accordance with study objectives and parameters.
  • Identify potential sample vendors and work with the Legal team to develop and finalize contracts.
  • Lead survey operations with support from the rest of the team, address issues encountered, and provide timely updates to stakeholders through presentations, dashboards, and emails.
  • Develop syntax to clean and analyze data to ensure clear records of iterations of data analysis.
  • Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses.
  • Prepare tables, graphs, fact sheets, written reports, and dashboards summarizing results.
  • Document work procedures to ensure clear records of decisions made in project management and data analysis.
  • Prepare presentations of research findings, modify them based on feedback from stakeholders, and present to internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assure compliance with all company and department data privacy and security policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  • 3 years' research experience.
  • Adaptable to changes in demands.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Strong Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency with Statistical software such as SPSS, R, Stata.
  • Proficiency with survey software such as Qualtrics.
  • Excellent organizational, project planning, presentation, and time management skills with careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage daily operations of the function and prioritize work without direction.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's hybrid work environment.
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Training or experience in statistics and survey methodologies.
  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment both independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Proficiency with Power BI.
  • Proficiency with R and/or Python.
