About the Role

Amazon Shipping is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Program Manager to lead critical program charters for our organization. As a Sr. Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives for growth and quality improvement, building and managing relationships with key stakeholders, and leading/supporting development of product and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the program charter by driving strategic initiatives for growth and quality improvement.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across Amazon Shipping, Commercial/Product/Tech/Operations teams, and internal partner teams.
  • Lead/support development of product and operational requirements in close collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Lead and/or support in key leadership update documents such as MBR/QBR, WW VP goals review.
  • Deliver clear and concise updates on status of the Program with detailed commentary on key challenges, risks, and mitigations implemented.

Amazon Shipping has developed the technology, commercial expertise, and operational processes to externalize this network, reducing overall costs to Amazon through incremental density and monetizing our logistics capability.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.
